sucky suck.

Holy Crap.

I have not even had time to blog I have been so busy, and let's just say it isn't the top thing on my priority list, so yes this is going to be a long entry so if you can't handle it...stop reading now..but otherwise I suggest that you SIU (suck it up) and keep reading. So let me try to break down my week for you..and hopefully I can remember everything but at least I can probably remember the important stuff.

So last Friday...a week from yesterday I moved over to Orlando from small ole little Titusville. The day was sooo stressful. I seriously moved from 9am to 9pm. It seriously took twelve hours to get all of my stuff moved in and organized, with a lunch break to P.F Changs, along with more shopping for stuff for my room, and then grocery shopping and when the whole process was over it was 9pm. It was the longest day of my life. Although it was super fun and a new adventure, getting all set up and making sure I had everything was a stressful mess. Luckily that got over.

Saturday- Unfortunately I had to move all of my crap on Friday because I was scheduled to work alllll weekend..before work I so generously went over to Danny's and helped him with moving and met his lovely roomie Tom. Shoutout to you both...Danny your welcome for folding your clothes and helping you set up your room and bathroom. Then work all day blabla. Oh then we went out :) HAAAAA was that a great night or what....you know what was even better...was waking up Sunday for work.

Sunday- work 11-5...a rather steady day at work ...at least it wasn't super slow...and I made the great find of a cute pair of galoshes, which ended up being very useful because upon the departure from work it was raining cats & dogs.

This blog is rather boring so far.

Monday was the starting of classes!!! Woot woot! I must say that I love all of my classes except for History..I am definitely not the history guru. Let's just say that I absolutely despise history. But other than that my classes were super super good and my class schedule is awesome. I have class Monday from 9-315 with a few hours of break period and I have a Tuesday night class...and that's all. :) So your Friday is technically my Wednesday. :)

Wednesday I decided to go home for the evening and go to church..because how could I possibly survive without Breakaway...It was good going home and seeing everyone but in the end I still feel like my home now is in Orlando and not in Titusville. I found myself going home on Wednesday night (titusville house) and just wanting to return to Orlando. I found out I love the city..all of the busy highways, loads of traffic, and bizarre people appeal to my aesthetics. So I decided to come back Thursday and thank god I did....Let's just say the night was full of...building cabinents, baking cupcakes, laughing and jokes. Danny & Tom came over and cracked us all up for about an hour then we ourselves were cracking up about the most random things ever. I love my apartment mates! We have SO much fun!! :):) It's really nice to be able to do whatever you want whenever you want while limiting yourself at the same time.

Friday was basically CRAZY. I ran around Orlando ALL day exploring my newfound home. From West Elm, to Pier 1 & Marshalls, Millenia Mall, Florida Mall then the outlets I went basically everywhere and found one good find at J.Crew :) but otherwise my attempts at spending a lot of money were quite unsuccessful. Which ends up being a good thing...but I would have to say the best thing about the night was when I got home I had a moment of distress and wanted to go buy a book. I drove to a Books A Million (who didn't have it) then to two other Barnes & Noble before tracking down my book. It was quite an adventure. A lonely college student in search of "The Fashion Game Book" in the big ole city of Orlando. It was about 1030 when I finally got a hold of the book and with a total of 37$ and about 10$ of gas money I finally came about the best find ever. I'm addicted to the book already.

Moving out is one of the funnest thing that has ever happened to me. It has been quite an adventure and you really find out who you are, what you want, and what really means the most to you. I thought I was going to have this super longing for my home in Titusville but the truth is..I love Orlando so much and all of the new opportunities it is bringing me...I want to go home but I'm not jumping in my car at every chance i get to ride on home. Meeting new people and having the freedom is so much fun but teaches you so much about yourself. I mean seriously...making your own meals is fun...but the dishes that come along with them...not so fun. And time management is a huge problem. Hah try balancing all of your lives at once...schoollife, family life, romance life, food life, cleaning life, social life. It can be a mess....plus don't forget about all of the $$ you have to have to maintain all these lives.

This is probably the most boring blog entry ever but I haven't been keeping up and I just wanted to get that off. I'm sure in the near future these will get much more eventful.
All I have to say is be careful with computer savvy people because they will get the best of you...you might think you are talking to two different people...but really you are only talking to one person and they are playing a horribly mean joke on you...right Danny? We love you and sorry for tricking you into thinking that Heather really took a HUGE interest in you. hah you will always be our spiderman.

So basically my first week away from home at college has been full of...
late night talks until 2 am
just random staying up until 230am
food
cooking food
yet lack of food
shopping...shopping...shopping
cleaning
skyping
organizing
laughing
going out and having a good time
getting a little sick
having a little too much fun
and spending time with good friends.

let's just say i love this.
and i can't wait to see where it goes this week coming up.....:)
keep posted for more details.

oh yes...and i think the most eventful part of this whole week was buying my new fish....:) i have named him Dewi and he currently resides in a big fish bowl...compared to the red wine glass i was keeping him in for a few days. :)

A Day In The Life Of A Moving Girl. (SIU & read it)

So today was definitely (I just figured out I can never spell definitely right) one day filled of complete randomness. But in the end I got a lot done and spent some great quality time with great friends.

I started off the day by doing a bunch of this---
PACKING.
Let me tell you something, packing can be two things, completely stressing and completely comforting both at the same time. I am filled with amazement concerning the amount of crap that I have and want to bring with me. I think the whole fitting it in boxes and bags is the most stressful, and finding out what I'm really going to need. In complete awe, one of the hardest things was actually bagging my clothes because I didn't want to ruin some of my most prized shopping bags, (cute Henri Bendels, Lilly's, Bloomy's, Coach) pathetic, I know, yet quite hilarious. But I believe that the best part of packing is finding those things that bring back so many good old memories. Like the box of pictures I found from Madison and the beginning of Astronaut. The massive amounts of school work I still have and reminded me, dang how did I ever make it through that class? Things that would be useless junk to others but to you it's a treasure. Or the old letters I found from friends, family, and lovers. Reading them brought tears (and I never cry) but totally amazed me at how things used to be and how much I've changed and grown (trust me all of you in high school are going to be amazed when you graduate). But it was also quite stunning when I found the massive amounts of old clothes that I still have that DON'T EVEN FIT ME ANYMORE. (quite depressing for ladies). Reminded me of my skinny figure I used to obtain Freshman year, when all I used to do is run..and eat anything and everything. It's weird now because I'm not running as much, but also not eating as much and I'm still bigger. See working out is a win win. Eat whatever you want, and workout and feel awesome about yourself! So anyways, this dilemma caused me to take many breaks to read my new favorite book.......
(DONT GIVE UP HERE-----> KEEP READING)

.
DON'T BE DECEIVED BY THE NAME.
This book, is seriously one of the most comical books I have EVER read. I got hooked on it when I took a trip up to NYC this summer and decided to pick up a copy. The book basically talks about becoming a vegetarian (something I could NEVER do) I love my meat. So I purely read it for entertainment and the witty comical effect, not to mention the healthy recipes and organic brands listed as approved to buy. The book talks about how almost everything is bad for you, but puts it in comical settings..let me give you a taste of it. "Pinch a loaf. Drop the kids off at the pool. Let's face it; there is no greater pleasure than taking a big, steamy dump. But crapping isn't just for kicks. It is a vital tool for weight loss and optimal health. Basic math, girls. How much are you putting in your mouth, and how much is coming out of your butt? Now that you've learned the right foods to eat and which ones to avoid, you should be a dynamo in the bathroom." The pooping chapter is one of my favorites. :) This book just cracks me up in general because it basically talks about how EVERYTHING is bad for you, one of the worsts is dairy. We all know I would never take this book seriously and to have some proof I enjoyed a nice....
yep that's right, cup of YOGURT.
aka FILLED with dairy products..because it is one. But I love my daily cup of yog and could never imagine giving it up.

Now what was I doing while I was packing, because we all know that I CAN NOT sit in pure silence and just listen to myself fold clothes and put things in boxes..so I lived out my newfoundlove of some good music. What music is that? That's the music of..
PAUL MCCARTNEY.

That's right, I like to bring it back. Some of my favorites by him being..Let It Be, Calico Skies, and Here Today. He is a music legend and I feel so privileged to have gotten to see him this year in New York. I recently found out that he shopped at Lilly Pulitzer in NYC last week. When the text messaged arrived in my inbox saying he was there all I could think was..."What was he buying?" "Please come to the Lilly in Winter Park" and "If I was working I probably would have passed out."

After a morning full of packing, and dishwashing I finally had the chance to go out and be with friends/family. The first round of family haircuts (Greg & Keegan) was a Kodak moment. Let me tell you I was a proud wiffy and mother. (If you are wondering, Greg is my "husband" (not really) and Keegan is our "son" (of coarse I'm too young to have any of these so this is just all fun and games) but they really are like my family, supportive and loving. Then dinner was fun of coarse, I hate stupid fortune cookies. "A much needed vacation will be excitement" or something stupid like that. haha. Then seeing Greg flick rice across the room was enough to cause me to stop breathing while I was laughing, trying so hard to grab a breath. But the family picture definitely topped the day off. (I had to spell check definitely again). Thanks to Kyle for taking the picture, and Alex, thanks for holding my starbucks for me...what a trooper. I would load a family picture, but of coarse Greg is photoshopping all of my flaws out so it's not up yet..maybe tomorrow.

One of the most joyful moments of the day was going to Breakaway, my home away from home. It was so awesome to see soo many new people! God is doing amazing things and it's so AWESOME! I'm so blessed to have the privilege to be able to still come to youth group even when I move away, and I'll also have the opportunity to be a part of a college group in Orlando! woot woot! I love Breakaway so much and all the people apart of it!

So today was just random: successfulness in packing, family time, friend time, God time, laughs, tears, scripture, and just overall goodness. Tomorrow is going to be a big day, packing up the car and the rest of my junk.

Thanks for reading, hope it didn't kill you or bore you to death, and if it did, well sorry for you, find some other blog with witty eye catching lines, juicy gossip, but mine is REAL, AUTHENTIC.

There is a time for everything; and a season for every activity.

New Beginnings.

Blog virgin. I really have no idea what I'm doing. Just simply letting you in on a glimpse of my life and getting a taste of what I see and go through.

At first, I intentionally created this blog for friends and family to be able to follow me and see what's going on upon my moving to Orlando. But I am excited to see what it's real purpose ends up being, whether it be my intentions or not; whether it be to entertain, comfort, inspire, or bore people to death.

Fresh. That's what I like to think of it (new blog) as. Like the smell of the laundry as soon as it comes out of the dryer, like the smell of freshly cleaned bathrooms, fresh like that sweet refreshment of H2O after a nice 7 mile run.

There's a lot going on in this little mind of mine. I'm finally about to move out (friday) and enjoy life out on my own. I have a huge heart, too big for this little town. One of the only things that keeps me here is my heart for our youth ministry. Other than that, my true passions lie in a bigger life, bigger cities, and bigger opportunities.

A shout to everyone in Titusville, I love you all and I hope you can read this and catch up on my life and what's new. I am going to miss everyone so much and thank you for your support of my new chapter of life that I'm about to start writing...(and blogging).

So strap on your seat-belts and get ready for adventure, fun, heartbreak, excitement, and love. A God lead life. Join me on this crazy ride of life. Enjoi.

(and a special thanks to my brother George Andrew, without him I would have never known how to create this blog) love you.
